Counselling Supervision

Counselling Supervision

'Supervision is a working alliance between two professionals where supervisees offer an account of their work, reflect on it, receive feedback, and receive guidance if appropriate. The object of this alliance is to enable the worker to gain in ethical competency, confidence and creativity as to give the best possible services to clients'. (Inskipp and Proctor, 2001,)

I base my approach to Supervision on the principles of nurture, exploration, and collaboration.

Naturally, my own Counselling approach influences my work, however, I am fascinated by the multitude of approaches within the Counselling community and highly value the individuality of my peers.

The structure of my Supervision session is informed by the work of Inskipp & Proctor.

My rates for Supervision are £45 / 50 Minutes.

Please note: I require all Clinical Supervisees to be suitably qualified in their field (or working towards a professional qualification) and to be a current member of a professional body that holds a register accredited by the Professional  Standards Authority. Such as, but not limited to the NCS, The BACP, The ACC etc.

As standard; I require evidence of this in our first session.

I am happy to offer both indoor and walking supervision
